Winter Wonderland

The expression "Post-Holiday Depression" comes to mind when I think of January and February. It is the coldest time of year here in RVA with little activity. I am guilty of hibernation during these months as I pray for Spring.

One thing that helps keep spirits bright is decorating for the Season. Whether there is a specific holiday or a theme to be had, morphing my house each month into a different identity makes it interesting! My favorite room to transform throughout the year is the dining room. As an avid entertainer, casting the right mood and atmosphere are critical elements in creating a memorable dinner party.
